This art class is fun, flexible and creative! In this class you will be designing a space – a living room, bedroom, or anything your imagination can come up with. We will be using collage, paint and drawing to create a whimsical scene. We recommend that you think about what type of scene you would like to create ahead of time and maybe even what type of colors or theme you will use. If you have any drawings or want to doodle something ahead of time, that would be fun to have those drawings to cut out and put in your painting. Also, bring an old magazine that you can cut things out and glue.

Materials needed:

• Scissors
• Glue (Elmer’s Rubber Cement or spray adhesive)
• Synthetic brushes
• Acrylic paints
• Old magazine or doodles of your own
• A piece of paper or canvas of your choosing
• A water cup for rinsing your brushes
• Paper towels or an old rag
• A pencil and easer
• A straight edge or ruler for drawing straight lines

This is a one-time class (1-2 hours of instruction total).
